The Return To The Job Market

It has been more than half my working life since I have needed to venture down ‘Job Alley’ in search of remuneration and a lot has changed.

Indeed the World and its technology has changed. Almost immeasurably and

imperceptibly, the machine is well and truly inside the machine.

Technology that was once the stuff of sci-fi and fiction is now common place in every home and every workplace. In every gadget and every phone.

This incredible science and all its capabilities has become so ingrained in to our lives that it is near invisible to us now. Taken for granted at every step and essential in our every daily task.

Emerging again in the Job Market, little of the old ways seems to remain. The old style resume that provided a written record of One’s legacy replaced by keyword sensitive screening tools that scan submissions in their thousands by the minute before an eye ever sees them. It is essential now in every role to be competent with Technology and the delivery of that evolves at the same rate as the increase in demand.

Finding a new job then should be a walk in the park

And this will be a test of it.
